The last prime-time stop before XO was a tense affair with all the big players jostling for position.

In two matches impacting on the War Games encounter, honours were even. Chris Harris got a pinfall victory over Kurt Angle to add to his resume, whilst Chris Kanyon tamed the beast Barabus Lashley. Backstage, Randy Orton and Jay Reso had an alteraction which suggested that both men are intent on winning War Games this sunday night.

In other matches, The Big Gee pinned Abyss after Triple H had interefered and Matt Morgan destroyed Sean O'Haire.

In the main event of the evening, Matthew Mercy defeated The Undertaker's brother Kane in a slug-fest. After the decision the Undertaker made his way to the ring and as the show went to black, Mercy and The Undertaker were staring each other down, face-to-face in the middle of the ring.
