"It really is an honour to sign with the IWF" said Sam at the press conference to announce her signing. "I met a bunch of the guys at the recent Soccer Six event and I'd already been in talks with the promotion, but the friendliness of the guys really sealed the deal for me. Dean Roberts in particaular was a really nice guy."
Dean even had a confession to make. "Dean said he'd watched the show and had actually cried during certain parts of it" said Sam. "I thought at first he was joking, but he was deadly serious."
We conctacted Dean this morning to ask for his comments and he admitted he found the whole thing very emotional. "Me and Gee both watched it actually. I was quite made up when Sam knocked Natalie out. At times though, it was a very emotional show." When asked about Sam's prospects in the IWF Dean was confident she would do well; "She's a natural. She'll shine for sure."
