OLEG PRUDIUS
Oleg is a Russian born professional wrestler, with ample experience in the Baltic states. Standing 6' 6" tall and weighing in at 310 lbs he is one of the most physically imposing superstars ever seen in the IWF. Oleg has an amateur background and was the winner of the 2005 USA Open Heavyweight Sambo championship; he has also played professional American Football in Germany and was a member of the USKBA.
When we contacted Oleg today, this is what he had to say;
Это - удовольствие находиться здесь в IWF. Я долго хотел проверить меня во всем мире, и все самые большие и лучшие борющиеся суперзвезды находятся здесь в IWF.
Translated that is something like; "I have often wanted to test myself around the world, and the IWF has the biggest and the best superstars in the world."
PETER TURNER
In a day that many thought would never come, former IWF great Peter Turner has reached a deal to return to the IWF. It's been nearly 5 years since Turner was in an IWF ring but against all the odds Turner has struck a deal to return. "I've truly learned that this is a business in which you can never say never" said Turner when we contacted him this morning. "I've never stopped being a wrestler and have worked all over the world since leaving the IWF but recently I've begun to think that there is unfinished business that needs to be attended to!" When asked if he thought his previous acrimonious departures from the IWF would have a negative effect on his latest tenure he was adamant that it would not. "That was a long time ago. And if there was any underlying resentment on either side...well I wouldn't be sat here talking to you about a new contract. I think I can speak for both myself and the company at large when I say that we are only looking forward, not backwards."
The strongest IWF women's division we've ever seen has just got that little bit stronger...and HOTTER...with the news that Krissy Vaine has signed a deal with the company. Krissy has been involved with the wrestling business since 2001 as both a manager and a wrestler, and now is finally her time to unleash the force on the IWF. "I was always that the IWF is the place to be" said Krissy when we caught up with her "but it was only once I started training with Tully Blanchard and Rick Steamboat that I realised just exactly what I had to do to get myself to the dance." Now is her chance to prove she has what it takes!
This tough and bruising Japanese wrestler has signed a full time deal with the International Wrestling Federation which will commence once his Japanese committments are finished.
